Riyadh Plants

Due to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City's commitment to expand the green areas of Riyadh, Arriyadh Plant Manual was created based on the expertise and knowledge of botanists and the various vegetation and afforestation experience in Riyadh city


There are 300 plants that are included in Arriyadh Plant Manual, and are categorized based on their species, the environment it can grow in, the amount of irrigation it needs, the suitability to Riyadh city’s climate, and the amount of heat and desertification it can endure.



Advantages of the application of Arriyadh Plants:

• To know the species and scientific names of plants
• To help with finding out the best climate to grow the plant
• To recognize the plant by the the color, flower, leaves and and its fruits
• To know the harvesting season, plant age, flower and fruits
• How to know methods of plant reproduction, and how to take care of it
• To know the right conditions for plants to grow, irrigation level, salinity level, and its level of enduring heat and frost.
