About CheckWorkRights
The CheckWorkRights iOS app allows you to perform an immediate VEVO check simply by scanning your employees' passports.
A VEVO (Visa Verification Online) check tells you if your Visa holding employee is allowed to work in Australia, and whether there are conditions imposed on their employment (e.g. maximum number of hours per fortnight, or restricted to designated geographical areas of Australia).
The VEVO result is instantly obtained from the Department of Immigration and conditions related to an employee's work entitlements are clearly displayed.
Built to be a companion app to the CheckWorkRights cloud platform, the iOS app makes it easy to get new employees into the application, and then once in there, the platform performs regular VEVO checks ensuring that employers can ensure their visa holding workforce has the legal right to work in Australia.
