Designed for institutional use by animal care specialists, ZooPhysioTrak provides expected reference intervals for fecal hormones and hematological, serum, and plasma biochemical tests for cetaceans in zoos and aquariums.

Inputs to the calculations are the individual’s species, sex, age, pregnancy status, and season. Clinicopathologic reference intervals are then displayed.

The prediction equations in this program were derived from a survey of laboratory test results for cetaceans in professional managed care.
