Case Logging App

The Case Logging App mobile app allows surgical residents to easily and efficiently log procedures with just a few taps. Each procedure is logged with its name and CPT code, the resident’s role, supervisor, hospital, date and optional notes. Residents can also see a history of their procedures and various statistics such as the number of times they have done a given procedure. All procedures logged in the app are stored in a central database. The app has a search function and allows entry of multiple procedures in a given patient efficiently by de-bundling. Together, the Case Logging mobile app and website form an easy and efficient way for residents to log their procedures and for program directors to monitor their progress. It meets all requirements of the ABO for reporting. Both interfaces are simple and user-friendly, making the entire logging process easier.
