About SpeakUnique
SpeakUnique create personalised synthetic voices for use in communication aids. The SpeakUnique app is a Text-To-Speech (TTS) app that allows users to use their synthetic voice, on Apple devices. This is aimed at people who are unable to speak due to conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease, Cerebral Palsy and as a result of a stroke.
The SpeakUnique app has been designed with input from speech and language therapists, communication aid users and software developers. It offers the user a range of different ways to communicate, through using the device's native keyboard, preset categories and a favourites button.
