About Solitaire Versus

Solitaire Versus is a free, fast-paced multiplayer solitaire game popularly known as Nerts, Pounce, Peanuts, and Racing Demon. It plays like Canfield with two to four players all competing at once and sharing their ace piles.

Play with your friends in the same room, across town, or on the other side of the world. Or you can choose to play with somebody new.

No login or sign-up is necessary, just download and play.

Add frequently played players as friends so you can see when they are online and invite them to play.

As you play, you will develop a skill rating similar to a chess rating. This reflects your overall ability and is used to match you against other players of similar skill. But you can choose to play against a player of any level – if they will accept!

Earn Success Points as you play in four-player matches, then compare yourself to the world’s elite Solitaire Versus players by rating, Success Points, and win percentage.

Game Play:
It’s a race to clear your Task pile and get your cards out to the Community area before your opponents do. You earn one point for every card moved to Community and lose one point for every card left in your Task pile. Miss an opportunity to move a card to Community and you may lose precious time waiting for another opportunity to arise.

You each play with your own deck, Task pile, and Staging piles in your private area, but you build Ace piles in a shared community area.

It’s great fun, involving speed and card placement strategy. There is no turn-taking amongst the players, everyone plays simultaneously.

A round ends when the first player empties their Task pile. The next round starts with a fresh deal of cards. To win, end a round with 60 or more points – if multiple players have more than 60 points, the player with the highest score wins.
