About Beacon Emergency Dispatch
The Beacon mobile app is the responder client interface for the Beacon Emergency Dispatch platform. A registered agency account is required for full platform functionality.
IMPORTANT
Users must first have their phone numbers registered in an Agency Account on the Beacon Emergency Dispatch platform in order to receive incident alerts from their response agency.

Beacon is a dispatch platform for emergency and crisis response agencies that need better communications.
Designed by Trek Medics International, Beacon makes emergency dispatch possible anywhere there’s a mobile phone signal by relaying requests for emergency assistance to the nearest responders — with or without internet on any mobile phone. Beacon works as a cloud-based emergency coordinating system that allows both automated and manual dispatching by guiding responders to quickly locate, treat, and transport emergency victims.
The Beacon mobile app improves upon the Beacon SMS interface by providing an upgraded experience for smartphone users, including:

• Interactive incident maps
• Group and private chat groups
• Audio, text and push-to-talk messaging
• HIPAA-compliant case reports
• GPS location services
• Multiple languages
