In this practice, a solution must be prepared based on the solubility of potassium nitrate, and the maximum amount that can be added to a tank must be determined, so that the solution is saturated. The simulator recreates a chemistry laboratory with a volumetric balloon, a pot with potassium nitrate, an Erlenmeyer flask, a watch glass, a filter funnel, a thermometer, and a lighter, among other necessary elements.
