About APX SmartMAP
APX’s SmartMAP mapping and response application is a comprehensive and versatile solution that allows for real-time access to critical data for all locations in a response area, as well as the advanced, intuitive preplans created in APX’s companion application, SmartCapture.
An easy-to-use map interface allows for simple searching based on civic address or by preplan. Searching an address zooms the map instantly to that location, automatically highlighting the building and presenting items of interest in the area such as fire hydrants, displaying flow details and distance to the highlighted building.
SmartMAP is now available on iOS, allowing users to receive alert notifications directly on their iOS devices. SmartMAP will receive alert notifications, even while not active, allowing users to tap the message to open SmartMAP directly to the location in the alert.
