About Hillel Tournament
This app accompanies NHBT, a four-day weekend convention and basketball tournament held annually at the University of Maryland.
In 2010, Rachel Epstein founded the National Hillel Basketball Tournament to bring students together around the inclusive game of basketball. The small event quickly ballooned into one of the largest gatherings of Hillel students in the country. The 2019 tournament attracted 1,500 students for a weekend of excitement, Judaism, and competition for the prized ‘Kiddush Cup.’
NHBT strengthens the Jewish community. As college students, we navigate our identities and decide who we want to be. Our goal is to bring Jews from all backgrounds together, foster unity, and inspire attendees to live active Jewish lives.
This weekend is truly one to be a part of.
