Barnyard Thumb Prehension (or Barnyard ThumbP) is designed to help clinicians measure thumb dexterity in preschool age children during the performance of an age-appropriate activity. It is easy to use and incorporate into a busy clinic setting, and has been shown to discriminate the number, timing and location of “hits” based on age.”
