Beacon is an off-the-grid chat app for people around you. No internet required—it works great in crowded or remote areas when cellular reception is a challenge!

## Works out of the box ##

Open the app, allow Bluetooth access, and you should connect to people nearby instantly.

Every person gets their own random colour—there is zero step for setup.

Send a message, and it is delivered to all those connected. You get delivery receipts when your message gets across.

## Speakeasy code for when you need private space ##

Set up a 4-digit code so that your friends join the same chat. Each chat holds up to 8 people connected at the same time (as limited by Bluetooth technology).
