About Sudoku X4U
Simply the best Sudoku app ever! Four games in one!
This is our free version for both iPhone and iPad with a large selection of puzzles to get you started with Sudoku X4. It can be upgraded to use our game engine that generates unlimited new puzzles at the touch of your finger. (Your iPhone or iPad is the computer making the puzzles!)
We have the classic Sudoku puzzles that you know and love. Then for a different twist on the game, try our Jigsaw Sudokus. Instead of the usual square boxes, these puzzles have odd-shaped groups which require a slightly different perspective as you work through them. We round out the selection with X variations on both of these puzzle types. In addition to the usual Sudoku rules, these X-Sudokus have a fourth restriction in the diagonals, which must also contain the digits 1-9. Not really harder, just interesting variations on the simpler Sudoku puzzle types.
Our Sudokus have 6 levels of difficulty, from absolute beginner to really, really hard. For newbies or aficionados who just want to relax, there are puzzles that require only simple techniques. At the other end of the scale, we have puzzles with Franken Fish, XY-Wing and other extreme patterns that will challenge even the most advanced puzzlers. (With no guessing required, of course.) These "really, really hard" puzzles rival the best handmade Sudokus.
We include an album storage system that allows you to save (and view) your partially solved and solved puzzles, as well as your choices for new puzzles. Our friendly user interface makes solving a pleasure, offering a great note implementation, various ink colors, a timer and complete undo/redo capabilities.
