AuSSISTANT is a tool that makes it easier to understand and use gold as money in our day-to-day lives, with a particular focus on the Goldback as the medium of exchange. AuSSISTANT offers:

* An enhanced Goldback Transaction Calculator that can be used offline.
* Transaction records, to help track the coming and going of your gold.
* Daily Exchange Rates, as published by Goldback, Inc. and the United Precious Metals Association.
* A Home Screen Widget for displaying current daily exchange rates.
* Charting of historical price data relevant to trading in fractional gold.
* An installable font that provides the Goldback Currency Symbol for use in any app that supports user-installed fonts.
* A directory of merchants that accept Goldbacks as payment for goods and services, using data from the Goldback, Inc. and Alpine Gold Exchange's pages. (Requires network access.)
* A Serial Number Verifier For MetalMark Gold Notes

All features with the exception of daily exchange rate updates, merchant directory map, the MetalMark verifier, and an instructional video, can be used without network access.
