About Athena Math
Mental math keeps your brain sharp. And it's useful!
Most mental math apps either lack simplicity or customizability, so I built Athena Math to fill this niche.
Here are the main features of Athena Math:
1. Mix and match numbers with different digits
For example, instead of adding two two digit numbers, you can do things like 43 + 279. This adds variety and pushes your skills. If you want to stick to same digit problems, you can.
2. Practice non-traditional operations
Athena Math allows you to practice percents, square roots, modulo, greatest common divisors (GCD), and least common multiples (LCM) calculations. These operations are rarely available in mental math apps, but they certainly help build your number sense beyond the standard arithmetic operations. Try them out and you'll start to see numerical patterns yourself!
3. Minimal distractions
I want users to be able to download my app and just start practicing without the hassle of setting up an account and without being distracted by ads. After downloading, you don't even need an internet connection.
4. Track your progress
All sessions are stored on your device, so you can see what you got wrong (or right).
5. See detailed stats
Explore graphs showing your accuracy, topics practiced, and performance over time — all filterable by operation.
6. Download your history
Export your entire practice log as a JSON for deeper analysis or transfer.
7. Learn with built-in tutorials
Tutorials for all supported operations are available offline. This allows someone completely new to mental math to download the app and start practicing immediately without searching for tutorials on the web.
8. Set a daily reminder
Consistency is the most important thing for improving at any skill. Daily reminders (off by default) help with habit formation and make sure you don't lose progress.
Athena Math is available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese
