The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is an important indicator for the classification of kidney dysfunctions and kidney diseases. With the eGFR app you have the possibility to calculate the GFR from the serum creatinine.
You can choose between the Schwartz formula for children up to 18 years of age and the CKD-EPI, MDRD and Cockcroft formula for children over 18 years of age.
This app also provides information on the individual formulas, how to pre-treat poor GFR values and information on risk minimisation.
