The free Avera Health Plans Virtual Visits app gives mobile users an easy way to connect with a live provider for an online video visit using your own mobile device. It’s simple, fast and you can use it anywhere—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This app is for Avera Health Plans and DAKOTACARE health insurance members over the age of 2. A virtual visit is a perfect option if you are dealing with flu or cold symptoms, headache, diarrhea, acid reflux, seasonal allergies, sinus infection, or any other minor illness.
Check your Summary of Benefits document for your specific virtual visit benefit. Members on a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), catastrophic plan or Medicare Supplement are not eligible for the free urgent care virtual visits. Visits are available for $64/visit*.
